Chocolate velour and summer lightness – rediscover thong sandals in a modern version
When designing these sandals, we wanted to reinterpret the classic thong silhouette. We chose 100% genuine velour in a deep dark brown shade to give the design a refined, almost sculptural character. This is our proposal for women who seek a balance between holiday ease and sophisticated urban style. We selected matte velour because its texture beautifully absorbs light, creating a luxurious contrast to airy summer fabrics.
Noble materials that care for your skin
At Estro, we believe summer footwear should feel like a second skin. That is why not only the straps, but also the entire interior – the lining and insole – are made of 100% soft genuine velour. We chose this material to ensure natural breathability and silky softness with every step. Genuine leather is our guarantee of comfort; it moves with you, adapts to temperature and motion, and helps prevent irritation even during the hottest days.
Sculptural heel and contemporary geometry
We searched for a construction that is both stable and visually striking. The sandals are set on a 7.5 cm sculpted (flared) heel. This is a conscious design choice – the wider base provides the confidence often missing in classic stilettos, while maintaining an elegant, elongated silhouette. The modern square toe and minimal thong-style strap layout reference 90s aesthetics reinterpreted in a premium key. A subtle ankle buckle completes the design, ensuring a perfect fit.
How to style our brown heeled thong sandals?
Dark brown is what we call the perfect base for earthy tones. Our design team suggests:
- sophisticated minimalism – pair with a beige linen midi skirt, a fitted top and a small handbag
